Soccer Booster Club Board Meeting Minutes
December 11th, 2007

Officer’s present:  Melissa Zahirniak, Traci Lee, Kevin Shelton, Teri Tomme
Booster Club Membership Present: Coach King, Coach Walker, Paul Wood, Cheryl Wood, Janie Kimpell, Sandee Wheaton, Carol Duvall, Amanda Cloy, Stephanie Brown

Call to order: 7:10pm

Spaghetti Dinner: We will have Jill Sargent check to see if the CHS cafeteria is open January 6th in order to hold the spaghetti dinner.  Teri Tomme will go shopping for the supplies: Noodles, Hamburger Meat, Cookies, Tea, and Silverware.  Admission will be $3.00 for Adults and $2.00 for students.  Traci Lee will make the flyer to hand out to the players.
The volunteer list is as follows:
Meat Sauce: Melissa Zahirniak, Kevin Shelton, and Carol Duvall
Noodles: Stephanie Brown, Traci Lee, Joann Green
Bread: Jill Sargent

Concession Stand:  Teri Tomme and Traci Lee will be the leads for the concession stand schedule.  Every parent will need to work at least one shift.  Teri Tomme will check with Maggie Santos about getting keys to the concession stand.  Traci Lee will check with Ginny Ciriot to see if she has the key from Bill Epps from last season.

Apparel:  After the mandatory parent meeting, we need to order more of the purple hoodies.  Traci Lee will get quotes for the hoodies, ear warmers, and beanies.  We will look at ordering 10 small, 10 medium, and 10 large. Coach King is going to email Canyon to see if they will be interested in purchasing hoodies at the tournament

Financial Report: We have $3,833.12 in the account right now.  Coach Walker will being spending $979 out of this amount.

Banquet:  Amanda Cloy to be the lead on the Banquet

Coaches Report:  

Coach King:  We will have a signing party in February for Sara Duvall.  Sara recieved a 75% scholarship with the University of Central Oklahoma.  The second tournament will be during Finals, so all students need to remember to keep up their school work during this time.  Coach King has approved the girls to work the concession stand if necessary.  Players will need to bring their own snacks for the tournaments.

Would like to make the Alumni Game a bigger event.

Coach Walker:  1 of the three Foreign Exchange students have all of their paperwork approved.  The Varsity team will go to the Aledo Tournament first while the JV go to Arlington Seguin's tournament.  The following weekend will be the Crowley tournament for both teams.  We will need coverage for the Auxiliary field during some of the tournament.

New Business:

Kevin Shelton got quotes on heaters for the field.  We would need three heaters: 1 for the home side, 1 for the visitors side, and one for our team traveling out of town.
